These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Genie (Gleb Tkatchouk). By using Genie, you accept them.
Genie helps you save gift wishes, collect them into wishlists, share a wishlist by link and reserve gifts in other people’s wishlists so nobody gives the same thing twice. Genie is free.
Genie is for people aged 13 and over. If your country requires parental consent for this, use it with your parents’ consent.
You sign in with a code sent to your email. You are responsible for access to your email: whoever can read it can sign in to your account.
Everything you add stays yours. You allow us to store it and show it to the people you share it with — only so that Genie works. We don’t use your content for advertising.
If a wishlist is open to “anyone with the link”, anyone who has the link can see it. You can revoke the link and remove members in the app at any time.
A reservation is an arrangement between people, not a purchase. We don’t sell anything; prices, availability and product pages come from shop websites and may change. We are not responsible for shops or their products.
We work to keep Genie running smoothly but can’t promise it. Features may change; if we ever shut the service down, we’ll tell you in advance so you can export your data.
Genie is provided “as is”. We are liable to the extent required by law; nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or rights the law does not allow us to limit.
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where possible.
These terms are governed by the law of Israel. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts.
Version of 2026-10-15. We’ll announce significant changes in advance. Questions: support@bemygenie.app.
